COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY

A technique utilizing tiny acupuncture needles called “micro-needling” to induce production of new collagen in the dermis layer of the skin. Typically an electronic “pen-like” device is used that actuates a reciprocating electric motor to impart thousands of tiny insertion punctures into the dermis. This action stimulates the generation of new collagen. This technique can also be used to infuse substances into the skin, such as medications, homeopathic formulations and nutritional formulations.
