This place is amazing and a one in a million find. When I first walked through the door I was taken aback by the beauty of their office. So much so that I had to take photos to share.
I first came in about 6 months ago to have a consultation for stretch marks that have been bothering for a few years now. The consultation with Dr. Milgrom was extremely informative. He was able to tell me exactly how to get rid of stretch marks. He spent an hour with me answering the many questions I had and explaining how the lasers interact with my skin. I felt very comfortable with everything and booked my first stretch mark removal treatment that day. What I really liked is that they charge per treatment. That way I can spread the cost out over time and only pay for what my body needs.
Prior to the stretch mark removal treatments they apply numbing cream and have you relax in a room they call the sanctuary. The atmosphere and massage chairs are amazing and really helped to rid me of any anxiety I had being this was my first experience with lasers.
The stretch mark removal treatment was way more comfortable than what I was expecting. The numbing cream works like a charm! Dr Pien performed the procedure. She makes you feel so comfortable and talks you through everything that is happening.
So far I’ve had 4 stretch mark removal treatments and I am extremely happy with the results. My stretch marks are barely visible. What amazed me the most was how smooth my skin feels now. Im considering having another treatment to further the healing of my stretch marks but at this point I think I’ll wait and see how the healing progresses over the next few months. The doctors explained to me that my skin will continue to remodel and heal itself for months after the treatment.
The only thing that concerned me at first is that my stretch marks got darker after the first couple of treatments. The doctors explained to me that this is normal as my body is is directing all its resources to the area in order to heal it. They weren’t kidding. I stuck with it and am so happy that I did! Dr Pien worked her magic and my stretch marks are practically gone!

After years of searching reviews on stretch mark removal, watching different videos of procedures, and contemplating if it was a procedure I was willing to undergo, I FINALLY found the PERFECT place.
When I made my first call to AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare, I spoke with one of the lovely receptionists who was very informative and understanding of my condition. She scheduled my initial appointment with DR. Milgrom ASAP and I was seen 2 weeks later. Upon arriving at the office in Santa Monica, I was welcomed into a serene and tranquil setting with a friendly and inviting office staff who were truly caring and professional. I relaxed in an amazing massage chair and was offered a refreshment until Dr. Milgrom came in to speak with me about the stretch mark removal procedure.
When the Dr. came in, he was very personable; took the time to draw me a diagram of how stretch mark removal typically works and the type of lasers AMA had available. After I spoke with Dr. Milgrom, I met with Dr. Pien. The entire staff is incredibly sweet and Its the first time I can say I actually LOVE making a trip to the Dr’s office. I’ve only been to two laser treatments and one Collagen Induction Therapy, and have already noticed results! My stretch marks are incredibly lighter, and a lot less noticeable. Before when I would look in the mirror, my eyes would focus straight to my thighs, sides, and chest where I am receiving laser treatments. Now when I look in the mirror, I can barely see them. I can still notice them when I look straight at my skin, but am still expecting three more stretch mark removal treatments, although I don’t know I will need all five ;).
I agree with Lynette’s reviews regarding the caring staff and rewarding experience of AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare. The only inconvenience I have is that I live in Bakersfield, and the trip takes 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. BUT TOTALLY WORTH THE DRIVE. The prices are comparative considering other offices that charge by the laser and not by the time. DR. Pien has a steady and experienced hand, and I appreciate all of the Staff’s help in wanting to truly make me feel beautiful and more confident, inside and out.

First of all just want to say that Dr. Pien is amazing! I have been a patient at AMA for a little over 2 years and have gotten amazing results. I live in AZ. and fly out to CA. because I’ve tried many different places in AZ. and have not had any success.
I’ve been getting treatments on my face for dark spots and melasma, and also for stretch marks on my stomach and lower back. I’m disappointed that I waited so long to get the stretch mark treatment done because I hated the way they looked and just assumed I would have to live with them.
The end results are better than I’d hoped for, my skin is clear and my stretch marks are virtually invisible, I would highly recommend this place! The results speak for themselves. Thanks AMA for your superior service!!
I See Major Dramatic Changes in my Stretch Marks

I have been battling with stretch marks for almost 6 years. My stretch marks are located on the back of my calves. I have been using the palmers cocoa butter and some other products. I have visited Epione 6 times. I have paid 1,400.00 for each stretch mark removal treatment. You do the math. I honestly said, ” I’m just going to fall in love with my stretch marks” I am never going to see another doctor.
I’ll never forget this day, I was on my computer and came across AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare. I started to read about Dr. Pien and her theory of treating the stretch marks. She sounded like she knew what she was talking about. I wanted to meet her and tell her my experience. I wanted to ask her if she could give me hope or should I just fall in love with my stretch marks. Dr. Pien without any hesitation said, “she could help me” but, I had to follow her stretch mark treatment guidelines before and after treatment. I was so excited to hear that and at the same time I said, but, “I heard this line before”. Guess what !! I trusted her word went in twice to her Beverly Hills location.
I see major dramatic changes into the size of the stretch marks and the appearance of the stretch marks. AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare IS THE TRUTH. I highly recommend this place. Great Laser Treatment for Stretch Mark Removal

I’ve had stretch marks ever since puberty and they are really embarrassing specially because they’re on my arms and lower back. I couldn’t wear sleeve less tops or dress coz i have to hide them. I’ve wasted so much time and money on soo many different creams that even work at all. Its sad that i didn’t find this place right away. My treatment consisted of 3 laser and collagen induction therapy (CIT) in between and i have to say that after just the first laser and CIT microneedling treatment i already saw dramatic results!! My stretch marks faded so much that Dr Pien already had a hard time seeing them on my second stretch mark removal treatment!
The whole staff is very accommodating and very nice. They are all knowledgable in what they do. Dr Milgrom and Dr Pien really take time to explain the whole stretch mark procedure and answer any questions. They all really pamper u and will make u feel comfortable from the time u walk in.
Their services are very effective because they have a whole lot of different lasers (unlike other places, and yes ive done my research) because as Dr Milgrom explained, there are specific lasers that ur skin needs depending on its condition. They’re also the only place i found that combine Laser and Collagen Induction therapy. Their prices are very competitive and well worth it.
I am very happy i found this place and would definitely recommend it to everyone!
Great Overall Experience with Stretch Mark Removal

Dr. Milgrom and his staff are extremely knowledgeable about their procedures and are able to offer a variety of options to customize the experience.
After giving birth to my second child I had several stretch marks across my abdomen and sides. After the first laser stretch mark treatment I was able to see results. I have had a total of 3 treatments and my stretch marks are practically non-existent. My husband has to look extremely close to see anything. I would strongly recommend this laser treatment to any mother out there who desires to regain her pre-pregnant body.

I cannot recommend AMA highly enough. I was desperate to find a way to improve the appearance of my cosmetic surgery scar. I had been through surgery twice – the first plastic surgeon didn’t do a good job, the second was a gem. I have medium-dark skin, so while the scar itself is flat pigmentation around the incision made the scar look worse than it should.
I had tried everything, nothing worked. Until AMA. Drs Milgrom and Pien are truly experts! My scar improved dramatically after just one treatment. I was shocked. Especially since lasers can be trickier with darker skin.
The doctors are so good with their patients. They explained the treatment protocol, answered my questions, and made me feel comfortable throughout. They work with a wide variety of lasers so you’ll get a solution customized for you. Their staff is very kind and professional.
I happily fly in from the East Coast specifically to visit AMA. Just finished a treatment on my face and I know I will be back soon for something else!

Honestly my LIFE SAVERS!!! I first came to Dr. Pien with burns on my face from another “Dermatologist”. They had scared in the most horrific way ON MY FACE. I couldnt even hide them with professional make up.

Great Experience with Laser Scar Removal on my Face

My review is for Dr. Pien at the LA office on San Vicente. I have now had my 2nd laser treatment for the removal of several scars on my face that have been there since I was a child. In addition to the scar removal, Dr. Pien also gave me a peel using the lasers.
First off, the customer service here is absolutely amazing!! All of the staff are so nice and informative and they always do a nice follow up call after the laser procedures. I have tried many other places and have done many peels, Vi Peel, and other laser treatments. Dr. Pien and her clinic is by far the best place I have been to for laser treatment, hands down. Her knowledge of lasers and holistic medicine is mind blowing and you can tell that she genuinely wants to help you and is not there just to sell you something or offer you a service that you don’t need.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for laser scar removal treatment. I will never again purchase a normal peel, I am so satisfied with the results I get from the lasers used at AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare.
Amazing Results for a Bad Burn Scar on my Cheek

I’ve been coming to AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare for many years now for various laser treatments and have been very happy. I initially came to AMA for a bad burn scar on my cheek. I had a severe chemical burn on my cheek that was on its way to forming a bad scar. I was desperately seeking for help and tried a dermatology office nearby in Newport Beach, but the Dr. was way too aggressive and made the burn worse. I became depress and thought I had to live with a big scar on my face forever, but after extensive research, I found AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare. My Abdomen Scar is 100% Flat with Improved Color

Let me start off by saying THANK YOU DR. ALICE PIEN!
I stopped into her office about 2 years ago with a huge scar left over on my abdomen from surgery. I was in tears and very uncomfortable in my skin. I was very self conscious and thought there was no way it would improve. My scar was very uneven in texture and hyper-pigmented.
I met with Dr. Pien, desperate for help. She explained to me her plan of action in both lightening the scar and smoothing out the texture. She explained each laser and what their function was; which really put my mind at ease. I trusted her 100% I am so appreciative that I have met such a compassionate doctor who is a master of her craft. She did not promise me the moon and the stars; she was honest about what I could expect and confident in her work. Trusting her was the best decision I could have made.

I found AMA in desperation after undergoing a laser procedure from a dermatologist that went horribly wrong and left me scarred underneath both of my eyes. After my initial meeting with Dr. Milgrom I felt confident and relieved that they could help with my healing process. After several appointments with Dr. Pien I am happy to report that she was able to work her magic and my scars can hardly be seen.
Dr. Pien is so sweet and gentle and I will forever be grateful for all she did. I will only trust her with any type of laser procedure and I have even sent my mom to have laser work done. I had Horrible Scars on my Arms and They Have Improved

My experience at AMA has been amazing.
I have to clarify that I am speaking about laser scar removal treatment because this is tricky and requires multiple treatments.
We are used to 1 hour photo, 15 minute prescription service, and have lost sight of the need for patience. Our skin needs to heal at a certain pace.
This takes several treatments, no matter where you go, and anybody who tries to tell you sooner, just go get a free second or third consultation.
I am VERY picky. I rarely find that I am satisfied with a service.
I usually always have to go back and get it redone!
However, the team at AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare is professional and knowledgeable.
They have a philosophy that is unique.
They encourage the body/skin to regenerate with the assistance of lasers and other devices, rather than viewing the treatment itself as the defining factor.
Before choosing AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare, I had done a lot of research and received many price quotes from leading surgeons/dermatologists who seemed baffled at my scars and told me there wasn’t much that they could do for me.
I was so disappointed, and desperate to improve my scars, that even after years of multiple surgeons and dermatologists telling me that there was little to nothing that they could do for me, I kept researching and getting different opinions.
So when I had my first consultation with AMA Regenerative Medicine & Skincare and they said “oh, those scars are easy to treat”, I thought that they were just saying what I wanted to hear, but I was so desperate for improvement that I gave it a try. I guess I decided to try it because they came up with such a detailed plan that included so many different lasers and other devices that I was curious. All of the other places I have been to took one look at my scars and groaned when they saw them!
I had horrible lacerations/scars on my arms and they have improved and I’m only at the start of my laser scar removal regimen.
Their prices are good as compared to many other places.
They have many lasers and other devices at their arsenal, plus, the lasers that they do have are the latest generation, so you are getting the best treatment currently possible. You have to do your research because those machines are really expensive and a lot of doctors will buy a machine and just keep it, long after there are newer, better lasers on the market.
Dr. Milgrom prescribed 8-10 treatment sessions and I’m ok with that, because I’ve already seen the evidence of improvement.
Im getting closer and closer to feeling comfortable enough to wear summer clothing.
I haven’t worn short sleeves in 17 years.
Even in the middle of summer when it’s boiling hot, or if I’m at the beach I wear long sleeves and look like a total psycho and it’s so hot and uncomfortable.
I just want to be able to look and feel normal and comfortable without this problem always ruining it.
I feel really excited to see how much better the scars will get because they are going from really white and really jagged, to getting closer to my normal skin tone and texture.
I couldn’t do anything until now because the texture was so bad, makeup actually made it more obvious.
I tried applying some makeup on the scars the other night and it looked pretty good. Enough to go to dinner and wear something that I actually like. That is a milestone after having worn long sleeves for almost two decades.
AMA customizes everything to your individual skin type and condition. They continue to change and adapt the treatment to the way that your skin reacts and heals.
Other places just seem to have a cookie-cutter mentality and use the standard treatments for everyone and when those methods fail, you are told that’s the best that your ailment is going to get.

The staff are amazing and very professional. They bend over backwards to help you, and if they can not answer your question clearly, they will make a note and ask the doctor, and call you back with a clear answer.
